Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports as young as 14 years old. Following her training in kickboxing, boxing wrestling BJJ and BJJ, she began her professional debut with Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was 18 years old. Ladd was able to take down three opponents in a row at Ultimate Reno Combat. All of her opponents were defeated within the first few minutes. Then, she went to WCFC again and beat Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen has already beaten Silvia Baeghian and Maddy Simmons, before taking against Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia dominated Aspen and defeated her in a unanimous decision, putting the mark of a loss on Aspen's record for amateur. Ladd rebounded from her loss in the final by beating Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, which brought her record to 8-1. Aspen began her professional career in 2015 after signing with Invicta FC. Invicta fought Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta '11 and she won by the first round TKO. She won her next fight against Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission, and then moved up to Bantamweight for her next fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen's impressive wrestling skills defeated McGill, and she managed to finish her in the third round by TKO (elbows and strikes). Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18, weighing the catchweight (138.1lb), as Ladd had missed weight. However, Aspen was able to beat Hoy. She won via TKO in the second-round. Invicta FC 21, she took her victory in the final bout of the promotion with a unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She was a step ahead of Lina and then pounded her on the ground for a second-round TKO victory. In her second fight, she defeated Tonya Evinger even more impressively. Ladd finished Evinger in the opening round. She also received a performance of the night bonus. The first big fight she fought in was in her next fight at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos vs. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in an Invicta FC rematch. Both fighters put up an exchange of blows that culminated with Ladd winning via unanimous decision and each fighter receiving an award known as the Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie finished Ladd in just 16 seconds and ended her winning streak. Yana Knitskaya in the UFC 7 ESPN 7's 3rd round, was defeated by Randamie. In a match that was a replacement to UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. The fight was unanimously decided against her.
